The refs could call a hold on a running play just as easily as a passing play.

I was alluding to a highly inexperienced/weakened NFC playoffs where the saints, packers, and if there's a third Carolina are the only ones with experience likely or not as beat up as Seattle is.

More like throwing away a sure thing for a chance at a win in regulation.
I'm not so sure. It looks fluid down the stretch. With the Eagles losing Wentz there's no guarantee that they'll get out unscathed. Though it seems like a mountain, Minnesota is only one game ahead in the loss column (and yes I know the Saints would have to finish ahead of them). A Seattle win next week puts them in the 4th slot. Win out and a couple of games going our way could lead back to the 2nd seed.

The damage was that we didn't take care of our business because Brees and Payton didn't take care of the ball.

Let's not make that same mistake again.
