I didn’t think the hit was dirty nor intentional. He didn’t launch himself and truthfully, I thought his form was perfect. It was unfortunate but hardly dirty IMO. We lost. We could not capitalize on turnovers and we threw a pick in the end zone to lose the game. Sure the refs didn’t do us any favors but we had every opportunity to win this game despite of that and the injuries we sustained.

On to the next game.

Deion Jones is a good player who arrives with bad intentions (IMO all legal hits). He's a Pro like everyone else. I hope Jeff Ireland can find a LB who can run sideline to sideline like this kid.

My thoughts exactly. Last year Kwon Alexander from LSU who plays in Tampa ran down Mike Thomas on a dead run from 20+ yds back. He can fly. Deion Jones was killing the Pats in the first half of the bowl last year and he put Kmara out, caught the winning INT and made countless other big plays. We tried a misdirection flat route to Snead in a big red zone play and Jones speed killed that play too. LSU got a LB now better than both of them. Led the SEC in tackles. #40. Forget his name but lets please get him. If he ends up in our division against us. Not good. Our division already has the best LBs in the league.

They did decline the holding call setting up 4th and 1 for the Saints. We did get the yard and the rest is a poor play call and a sh!tty pass by Brees.

So they were dumb and we were dumber.

Quinn's bumb decision was surpassed twice afterwards.

Once by Payton's refusal to run the ball, despite needing to bleed clock.

Then again by Brees' terrible, horrible, no good, very bad pass.
