Referees and Falcons beat Saints 20-17 in first of two

In one of the most one-sided games you’ll see this year as far as officiating goes, the Saints fall to the Falcons 20-17 on the road in first of two of the series.

11 Saints penalties to four for the Falcons is pretty much all you need to know about the Saints’ Thursday night 20-17 loss to the Falcons. It’s not considered good manners to complain about officiating but this game was a joke.

The Saints were called for everything and the Falcons for very little. Alvin Kamara left the game in the first half following a head to head hit from Falcons linebacker Deion Jones. No flag. Mark Ingram was speared in the back with a helmet in the second half. No flag. An no one was allowed to touch Julio Jones. That atop a roughing the passer call when Sheldon Rankins was pushed, lightly, into Matt Ryan.

This is Arthur's list of Ref's that he's making checks out to this morning.
Plus they all get orange plated Home Depot gift cards.

Clete Blakeman's 2017 NFL officiating crew consists of umpire Ramon George, down judge Hugo Cruz,
line judge Dana McKenzie, field judge Joe Larrew, side judge Dyrol Prioleau, and back judge Steve Patrick

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the hits on Kamara and Ingram.

Speared Karmara from the side helmet to helmet ... same hit in the Pitt Cincy game was called flagrant ... Opinion ... BS non call considering all the other ticky tacky crap that was called. If you are going to call crap on one team be consistant and call the same crap on the other team. Be consistantly bad at least it evens out.

I don't care about the officiating or the injuries, Saints were still in a position to win and Brees panicked for some reason, basically a choke job...

i don't look at it as he choke, more like trying to be the hero. I believe being in the back seat for so long effected his judgement, Ingram was open. People say Ingram was hurt, well I say if he was too hurt why was he out there? They have plays that they took out Ingram.

Not disagreeing that there wasn't home-town cooking with regards to the officiating; not to mention some BS scheduling by the league...

But we beat ourselves - and that's the worse part...

No need to see this group of clowns at any playoff post season venue. The "fix" was on.

Kind of hard to defeat two teams last night.
