I am only asking this because the people at SR were coming up with this tie-breaking scenario and this is what I have?


head to head would not work because Minnesota beat us and LA but Philadelphia did not play them. Therefore, move to the next tie-breaker

Conference record....LA would have to beat Tennessee for them to be out. Philadelphia, us, and Minnesota would have all have the same conference record(12-4 minus 3-1=9-3), so move to the next sans LA. Had LA beaten Philadelphia here or lost to Tennessee but beat Seattle then it's a four-way headed to common games.

Common games
With LA involved this is impossible as there would only be three teams commonly played
Without LA involved, it's LA, Carolina, Chicago, and Washington as the main common opponents. All would be 4-1. Next procedure

Strength of victory
Minnesota is looking at wins against teams with 80-82 wins combined, we are looking at less than that. LA would be at around 75 if they're involved here.

By way of a little known tiebreaker buried deep in the rule book called the kobayashi maru method. Wherein an alien master race will exit hyperspace directly over the 4 cities involved. Doctor Who will intercede and save one city, while the other 3 are eliminated from playoff contention and the planet.
