I don't think anyone thinks otherwise. Most of the discussion this week has been about playoff positioning. Nothing has changed for the Saints. Win Sunday, and win Christmas eve, and the Saints win the South.

The positioning is up in the air. But playoffs are still the direction the Saints are moving.

I do. We could totally flounder. This last one was a morale killer right up until the point coach stood up for them. They are going leave it all out there from this point on. Jets aren't sneaking anyone this weekend.

10-6 is also possible.
11-5 is far fetched.

Playoffs are not guaranteed.
Fan posturing means nothing.
7-9 over and over and over was not the fluke.

7-9 three straight seasons were for different reasons. Most of the reasons behind the second two were the total rebuilds that were taking place. That rebuild is now in its third year and is reaping benefits. You are correct that the 7-9's were not a fluke, but neither is 9-4 or the 12-4 that I expect.

What are you talking about? I'm talking about something that can't be measured with any stats which is actually POSTURING, swag, attitude...it's a real thing that impacts performance. Right now they have that thing.
