You can't tell me the refs missed BOTH of those... Or were they not penalties?

Why was Zach Miller robbed of a TD? Why didn’t we get penalized for the blatant neutral zone infraction against Carolina? Sometimes you get the calls, sometimes you don’t. We really need to get over it... We sound like such freakin’ crybabies.

Easy to say. I'm being truthful in my confusion.

Should I be pissed because of **** calls? I remember a hit like that agaisnt Eddie George playing Pittsburg AND another on Deuce when we were playing SF. Helmet to helmet, knocked both of them out of the game.

Sorry man, I didn’t mean to sound like I was being rude. I’m just so ready for the Jets game so we can put that Thursday night debacle behind us.

Personally, yeah the one on Michael Thomas should have been a flag but I’m not one who believes the Kamara hit was a penalty.

The helmet hit was more of a sheet hit. It has to be a direct hit with a lead for them to call it. It was likely still intentional but harder to detect IMO. Eye poke, impossible to call. I think everyone should be wearing shields like MI but it's optional obviously. MT likely goes that route next year after that situation. It's also harder to facemask. I know I would be wearing one. It was not an accident though. MT was killing them.

The Kamara hit, the dude didn't lead with his helmet. He lead with his shoulders square then his helmet made direct contact.
It wasn't deliberate.

It has a lot to do with what the player intends to do.
It was mostly a clean hit that freakishly landed into Kamara's brain.
It never looked like the defender deliberately hit Kamara in the head.

Michael Thomas - that was a deliberate eye poke They missed that.
Refs also missed a tons of holding calls by the falcon offensive line.

I agree, glad to get this one behind us. Tired of talking about it.

Kamara wasn't considered a defenseless player as he had caught the ball and made a few football moves.

The Michael Thomas eye gouge though......who knows why that wasn't called.

Rb’s rarely get that call, but I wondered the same thing. Poked in the eye happens to someone in just about every game. Seahawk fans are the worse at officiating whining, for the most part I believe we are better than those clowns. We take care of business not just in that game but most, and we win....officiating over sights happen. Just for an exercise, troll any teams forums and you will see post regarding shoddy officiating. Happens every game, for every team and every fan forum has a post about. I say we move along....marching to the playoffs.

helmet to helmet contact is legal on running plays or after the reciever is declared not defenseless; however NO PLAYER can deliberately use the helmet as weapon by spearing

The only reason their was no call on the eye gouging is if the refs didn't see it. Which will be lame excuse cause his hands should be nowhere above the shoulders

The refs were obviously against us. No excuse for all the missed called when flags were coming out cause Rankin breathe too hard on Ryan & penality on LeRibeus that negated 3 pts

My understanding is that an RB running w the ball is not a defenseless player, so that's why the call wasn't made. However, the eye gouge on MT should have definitely been a penalty.

Kamara was legit. Kamara had lowered his head and the defender didn’t lead with the top of his helmet. Idk why hands to the face wasn’t called on the eye poke. I also don’t know why the hit on Ingram’s back wasn’t spearing. Lot of bad calls but the Kamara hit was legit. I think it was intentional. We need to play just as nasty in the Dome.

I have to disagree; Jones definitely lowers his head before tackling Kimara.
Can you imagine the crap storm the Saints would have endured if they treated this like the Seahwaks did with Russell a few games ago?

I think Jones gets a pass from a lot of fans here because he’s from LSU. If he played for Ole Miss or Alabama and people here would be screaming for his head.

Kamara is now going to be running with a face shield. That's one less uncalled penalty to worry about now. The hit on Kamara looked legit to me with no ill intent. I don't believe he targeted Kamara's head.
