Okafor wants to be a part of what the Saints are building.

"With a team like this, we're so young, it's been an unbelievable type of year, and we've got a chance to go all the way," Okafor said. "If we win it, I want to try to be with the team next year and double up. If we don't, then we have unfinished business. Either way, it'd be a great situation to be back here next year."

I hope he comes back. I think he's a big part of the defensive turnaround this year.

He was ten times better than I expected. I figured he would be below average and he ended up looking incredible. I don’t know what kind of contract you give him though coming off the torn Achilles.

He was another very pleasant surprise this off season. Okafor gave this team an energetic experienced and versatile player. God, I hope we bring him back.
