Reggie Bush Ready to Retire a Saint

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-done-for-sure

"Listen, the Saints know I'm coming home at some point," Bush said. "I'm going to come home to retire as a Saint. But yeah, man, I'm done. For sure. I'm done."

I’m thinking Reggie needs to lead us out of the tunnel with the baseball bat one more time on Dec. 24th!

I like that idea. Works well. A great and ironic gesture.

Would love to see the bat, maybe he could sport old Lucille!

Classy move. Really nice to hear news like this. The guy played a big role in the years leading to our Superbowl season.

Forget retirement, he needs to be Kamara's backup the rest of the year. We all seen what happened when Kamara had to leave the game.

On a serious note, very glad to see Bush retire with the Saints!!!

Will there be two number 25's coming out of the tunnel the 24th? That would be cool.

Reggie Bush been better as a slot receiver, don't know that he'd ever figured out he couldn't out-run everyone as he had against USC's flop schedule...

We have too much on the line to have him on the field. Sign and retire but I don't trust him at all to make a play at his stage.

Who said anything about him playing?

He didn't pan out as everyone had predicted, some on him, some on Payton, but he was absolutely the right pick...

I'm just making a point.

I thought he was at his best in Miami. He had 200 yard games with them. But Miami was always wanting to be a pass first team, so they moved on from him. Then Detroit took him back to how he played in NO.

By far my favorite Reggie Bush highlight, to me his most spectacular run. Reggie could frustrate the crap out of you, he could dazzle you. Maybe he didn't become the HoF RB, all time best running back for us, but he was instrumental in bringing us our ring. He was the right pick at the time and I'll always be grateful.

He would be a great ST player if he could tackle. Still enough speed to get it done. He's a big dude. Should have went the Pryor route and re-invented himself.

Reggie's speed was unreal, his body control (acrobatics) equally almost unparalleled, but durability, eh, not so much...

Love the guy, but be sure to put his bust in the East or West wing of the HOF!

I never wanted him to leave. Honestly, we just didn’t use him to his potential.

I think we used him quite appropriately, he just didn't live up to expectations.

Too much east-west instead of north-south
