I hope so, because the play-calling vs the Jets was putrid:
a) run up the middle
b) short pass in the flat

Once we got up ten we run finally a pitch to Kamara that got 12 yards.Take away that and the garbage time 50 yarder and we averaged 2.5 a run.

After the two very-vanilla three and outs to start the second half there was definitely some booing, and thankfully we opened up a little.

The Jets play a lot of people tough. Their D is pretty tough. If some of those plays had been big gains then what? In truth our receiving core is mediocre at best. It was great to see Mike Thomas play well and even catch a pretty long one. Eventually well see Kmara catching deep balls. He dropped a fade vs the Jets. Its possible with our run game that Mike Thomas, Coleman, Tommylee, Ginn, Kmara and Hill can step up and produce an offense that wins the bowl but.......we'll see. WhoDat!

If we upgrade our receiving corps then we'll probably convert more third downs. We also need a real tight end not named Fleener or Hill. Houman is alright but not the go to we need.

Cute plays? More often than not on those they backfire.
