I hope the staff do the right thing with Warford this week. He was rattled (concussion) pretty good in that Jets game.

Side note - Saints desperately need to sign a legit TE this off season. Hill is limited, Griffin nursing a sore foot and Houwhatchamacalic is still in concussion protocol :rolleyes:.

We need a DT like bad, really bad, and we need someone opposite Cam. And yeah a tight end would be nice, we can save 3.2 mil by cutting Fleecer, but he has two more years after that on his contract so I don't know if we keep carrying the dead money.

It is every year with this team. I guess it is league wide, but yeah our IR is consistently high.

That said, Rankins is a huge bust

Very little hope there. There is no way Julio doesn't play on Sunday. Lattimore will irritate, harass, hobble & impede his progress all game though ;).

We can keep him, but bring in another big time TE to go with him. Phillips blocks well at least.

FWIW, he looked good locking up his man vs the Jets on last week. With injuries to Klein, I'm more concerned about Freeman & Sanu. He (Sanu) had a good game in the first meeting. I think Latt will be in All Pro form vs Jones. His technique/hip movement is elite.

Yes you're right - Sanu has been a problem for us. I also worry about their running game. Our front 7 needs to force them into 3rd and longs.

I forgot to mention it but Freeman has become a fumbler as of late. He has had 3 (had 2 vs TB last week) over the last 4 weeks of play. I'd have guys gang tackling him high while another defender tackle the football.

Atlanta will expose our second string LBs in coverage. So 3rd and short or 3rd and long - I’m not confident.
