What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
Our defense stepped up.
Karma is a beotch with the refs calls from two games ago. Kamara made all the difference in the world. The Saints are officially in the playoffs with this win. It'll come to the last game to decide the division. Merry Christmas everyone! |
Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
Brees joins the very exclusive 70k yards club!

Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
The defense won the game. You might say that Lattimore pulled part of the game out his butt.
Refs loved the Saints. Merry Christmas everyone. |

A lot to play for next week!
Merry Christmas all! |

T’eo was a good pickup. Our defense stepped up and has more depth than we thought.
Best defensive game yet I think, They stopped the run for a spell and Drew still found targets Kamara is learning to run routes. Fans were LOUD 112 noise level at one point. Anyone know the highest? |

Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
-Teo' had a great game. He was a great signing. A difference making signing.
-Kamara is as good as it gets. A true play maker. -The goal line stop by Kikaha was a man sized play. Again, difference making play. -The third down catch by Thomas was incredible. Again, again, difference making play. -Lattimore and Crawley are the best CB duo the Saints have ever had. -Incredible difference making draft class. -I think Ram held his guy today just to get his name called. :) The silent, impact, difference maker from the draft class. -I like the way TLL attacks the ball on returns. He's going to break one sooner or later. -Big, statement win when they needed it. -Signing Johnson off the street and having him contribute is another great find. |
Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
At least the refs stayed out of it. Beat Atlanta with 8 - that's eight- starters down. Next year healthy with new draft class..whoa. This is fun.

Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
WORST WIN in SAINTS HISTORY....... How many spots will this cost in the draft? What they should have done was.........EGGSPURTS SPURTING...............LOL

Either way, a good point.
We've lost some solid starters, probably more than anyone else in the NFC |
Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
I was more impressed with Manti Te’o today than I have been with AJ Klein all season. Starting to think maybe Klein should be purely the Sam and Te’o should get every down duty at Mike.

Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
Johnson. Best "off the street" pickup in a long time.
|
Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
Mike Nolan. You are the man.
Dennis Allen. You earned your paycheck today. Payton - way to feed the hot hand. If this teams plays this well going forward we will be a hard out. |

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention this... This injury stuff with Armstead is beyond ridiculous. I’ll never know what absolute hell these guys go through to be out there on the field every week so I have nothing but respect for the big man, but never being able to play an entire game makes me think we need to move on.

Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
X factor today - Saints crowd. It was loud as hell in the dome. Caused a few false starts penalties by the Failcons.

Thinking the refs are so impressed with Lattimore (as all should be) that they give him the benefit of the doubt while they're watching the play at real-speed. That explains the "no calls" to me. |

Me, too. I was always looking to catch a number of someone flashing and it was usually number 90. Who is this guy? And, why was he available. Someone in our front office knows what they're doing. |

Everyone remembers the butt-fumble by Sanchez? Well, over here, one of our analysts are calling THAT interception a butt-pick! Gross or amusing?
|
Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
George Johnson is 6"4 265 runs a 4.7 40. Did I look up the right guy? How did we sign him off the street?

Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
Falclowns ain't all the media wants them to be.
|
Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
^ESPN just put a article that they are nothing like a playoff team.

Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
WHAT DOES ESPN KNOW ABOUT ANYTHING?

You aren't heading to post season. Watching Jerrah high five after every other 1st down all season was a beat down. They can have a seat. Hopefully the Failturds will join em after next Sunday. The media can focus on relevant teams now. |
Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
It was loud. Sound meter was 110 plus. A gas generator is 74-84 decibels @ 25 feet. If the noise is measured from the field it would be the equivalent to Matt Ryan having to huddle with 2 generators running on either side.
All the Saints players made a point to credit the crowd. I still don’t have a voice. |
Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
Best the Dome has sounded in a long time! You could see the players feeding off it, particularly the defense. The terrace was rocking again. Good times.
|
Re: What we learned from the Saints win against and the FailClowns
Lattimore pulled that interception out of his arse.........sometimes you just get the right bounces.
I like players who use their heads........but once in a while other body parts play a big role too. |
