I was wrong about 2 players...

Yes, I was thoroughly unimpressed with the signing of Teo and Ginn.

But both exceeded my expectations and I'm pretty sure they surpassed most of you guys' expectations as well.

Both ended up being great fits on our team

Who else surprised you guys with performing much better than you thought they would?

Be honest, I'm a forum search guru!!!:p

TLL...he's turning out to be a pretty darn good punt returner.

Ginn is so-so for me, had a huge play and then followed it up with a tipped ball that gave Atlanta life. Not to mention his constant running out of bounds.

Te'o has been a very nice surprise, he knifes through blockers well and makes solid tackles.

As stated above, TLL is above average on punt returns and isn't afraid to run north and south.

The defense as a whole played outstanding, they have faced adversity all year with multiple injuries but never backed down.

Alex Okafor. Figured he'd be a decent rotational guy. He ended up playing great. Hope he's back next year.

Another one for me, sort of.

I thought he'd be a decent DE, but certainly exceeded my expectations.

I just never thought Teo and Ginn would have been as good as they have been.
Everyone else is about as I expected, plus/minus a notch or two.

I was wrong about "why are we drafting a rb when we have Ingram and AP"?

Ginn exceeded expectation
Teo stayed healthy

T’eo may just be one of those players who just wound up on the wrong team. All he may need to be a great player is the right team, coaching, and locker room.
Peat threw a few nice blocks today too. He may wind up living up to his draft status if he keeps it up.

All in all we have WAY more depth than anyone thought. Players just keep stepping up.

What does this have to do with me? I never said anything about Teo since the one post after the signing. Ginn, I have, but he's been up and down. Obviously this was a must-win game where the players had to mostly show up. I never said we would lose this game. It's the playoffs I am more concerned about.

While I trusted SP, drafting Kamara was a huge question mark. Now we see why

Re: I was wrong about 2 players...

Manti step up BIG, I honestly forgot Klein was on IR. Okfar is presence that we are missing, I honestly thought picking Kamara instead of DE didn't make sense even though Okfar signning, glad I was wrong. By far the biggest FA pick up is Warford, actually the team was eyeing another OG, he turned out to be a perfect plan b, But the best move was actually not a move, not trading for M Butler. Ram turned out to be a perfect and must needed pick.

Almost got a like outta me for this, but.. Running out of bounds might give up a yard or so once in a while, it does adds years to a player's career (just when we really need them) and it takes any worries about fumbles away as well.

Teo may be better than Klein... haven’t seen the drop off.

We just need to keep mauti off the field.

Okafor and Teo were my two biggest surprise signings..........however, Kamari is the nicest surprise of all!!!
