I was wrong about 2 players...
Yes, I was thoroughly unimpressed with the signing of Teo and Ginn.
But both exceeded my expectations and I'm pretty sure they surpassed most of you guys' expectations as well. Both ended up being great fits on our team Who else surprised you guys with performing much better than you thought they would? Be honest, I'm a forum search guru!!! ![]() |

Ginn is so-so for me, had a huge play and then followed it up with a tipped ball that gave Atlanta life. Not to mention his constant running out of bounds.
Te'o has been a very nice surprise, he knifes through blockers well and makes solid tackles. As stated above, TLL is above average on punt returns and isn't afraid to run north and south. The defense as a whole played outstanding, they have faced adversity all year with multiple injuries but never backed down. |

Almost got a like outta me for this, but.. Running out of bounds might give up a yard or so once in a while, it does adds years to a player's career (just when we really need them) and it takes any worries about fumbles away as well.

I thought he'd be a decent DE, but certainly exceeded my expectations. I just never thought Teo and Ginn would have been as good as they have been. Everyone else is about as I expected, plus/minus a notch or two. |

What does this have to do with me? I never said anything about Teo since the one post after the signing. Ginn, I have, but he's been up and down. Obviously this was a must-win game where the players had to mostly show up. I never said we would lose this game. It's the playoffs I am more concerned about. |
