Unsung studs...
Davison Rankins Te'o Robertson Bell and the new guy George Johnson. Our defense is better than the average moron thinks. |

Rankins is getting a lot of hate lately, but he's having to do all the work in the middle right now, including eating up blockers. My hats off to the guy. I'd like to see what he could do with a big nasty next to him to free him up.

Re: Saints film room: Defense proves it can thrive despite injuries to key players
Everyone keeps talking about how Robertson, now Te'o keeps stepping up, which they have...
But anyone consider that Linebackers Coach Mike Nolan may have also had an effect that Joe Vitt would never have had? |
Re: Saints film room: Defense proves it can thrive despite injuries to key players
It would be nice to get Hendrickson back at full speed, strength; continuing his development to be a starter...
It also would take one item off the To Do List next offseason... |
Re: Saints film room: Defense proves it can thrive despite injuries to key players
Real MVPs on defense are Mike Nolan, Ryan Nielsen, and Aaron Glenn...
