Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
Unreal, the guy makes a few plays and then gets injured for the 3rd time in three years.

Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
Looks like we’ll be starting our 4th different DE opposite Jordan on Sunday. Hopefully Hendrickson is close to returning.

Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
Johnson is better than both...
Kikaha was playing more LB recently, so I see it hurting us there. |
Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
It's time for Bighill....

Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
Trust that things will continue to work out. It is destined that we win another Super Bowl.
16-4 baby! :bng: |
Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
We all knew what we were getting high risk w/his potential being anywhere from a good situational pass rush guy to a perpetual IR guy. Not disappointed at him...just annoyed we spent a 2nd RD pick on a medical long shot. Wish him a good recovery.

Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
They say ankle injury... has to be worse than a sprained ankle or something. SMDH

Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
Well monkey farts. Are we snakebit with the injuries or what?

Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
Was he drafted pre-Ireland? He shows a lot of potential but was high risk to begin with

Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
Snakebit but people continue to step up. Have done so all year and the defense has played better and better.

Hopefully there is no tipping point with injuries because we would be fast approaching that threshold.

It makes sense to IR a guy like that so you can bring someone else up that can help in round 1, or even round 2 of the playoffs. If this was week 10, I doubt we IR him. |
Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
Faith or no faith - who puts this manly players on IR every season???
|
Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
The goal line stop was about as good a way to go out as their is.

Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
So the average this year is 16 players and we’re at 21. Which is sixth hugest.
Last year we were second highest at 25. That’s a lot of IR |
Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
He is good for at least 4 games and max 6 before he goes back on IR. glad we got some one that knows DA and the rams

Re: Kikaha to IR, Edebali Returns
anzalone has bad bones so it is not surprising. kikaha has bad knees and now apparently ankles. The loss of okafor hurt as did the loss of klein. i guess at this stage of the season a few weeks = IR
Let's just hope the oline stays healthy, we need a completely healthy oline, ingram and kamara in the playoffs |

And as for Kikaha, getting your ankle rolled doesn't mean that you have bad ankles. It simply means you suffered an unavoidable injury that could happen to virtually any NFL player in any game. |

The following draft and last years draft showed the impact that Ireland has on bringing in quality players. Edit: The new scouts also had a great influence no doubt!:p |
