Wisconsin tight end Troy Fumagalli ... should we draft him?

For Wisconsin tight end Troy Fumagalli, amputated finger is no big deal

So what if he has only 9 fingers?

He's one of my favorites that I've talked about a few months ago...

Clutch receiver always making the big catch for Wisconsin - absolute animal...

I'd be thrilled if we took him or Penn State's Mike Gesicki this draft...

But other than a special quarterback falling to us, I'm all about getting Guard(s) and Restocking Linebackers...

was going to mention Gesicki- looks like a really good fit

the 2018 draft is loaded with potential superstars at RB and QB, so no telling who will be available at 32. I think we'll see quite a few trades as teams target the QB they want

round 3/4 short list so far looks like this

Kyzir White SS/OLB West Virginia 6025 215 4.56 #8 Sr
Mike Gesicki TE Penn State 6052 252 4.76 #88 Sr
Brian O'Neill OT Pitt 6052 305 5.04 #70 rJr
Troy Fumagalli TE Wisconsin 6054 249 4.84 #81 rSr
Brandon Facyson CB Virginia Tech 6011 191 4.52 #31 Jr
Hayden Hurst TE South Carolina 6042 250 4.83 #81 Jr
J’Mon Moore WR Missouri 6021 205 4.54 # 6,rSr
Marquis Haynes DE/OLB Mississippi 6021 222 4.67 #10 Jr

I will be shocked if Kyzir White makes it to the third
Mike Gesicki and Brian O'Neill should be off the board when we pick

A dual threat TE that blocks has been a need since we let Watson walk.

Hayden Hurst and Troy Fumagalli should both be there.

old school TE always seem to drop.

I'd love to have him. In Wisconsins offensive you know he can block. He can catch like a monster. The only knock I can see is injuries.

Dallas Goedert-south Dakota State would be my TE choice

I would be shocked if he makes out of 2. he has all the makings of a small school darling.

He was the reason I watched the Wisconsin game. If he's there take him.

I think we take the best DE or DT in the draft possibly a combo.

Even though we are in the midst of a playoff run now, just take a step back and look at the team.

No one really thought we would finish 11-5, especially after 0-2.

Now imagine this team with all those injured players back, then the offseason signings and the draft, just imagine how good we could become.

If we add another WR and TE that can get open and then draft heavy at D line and front 7 we could be great.

I think we need CB and TE more than anything. PJ is trash and Fleener is gone.

I don’t think PJ Williams is trash. Remember that prior to this season he’d only played 1 1/2 games in 2 years. Now that he’s finally healthy he’s essentially playing his rookie season. He’s not really a nickel CB either but we have no other option at that spot right now. I’d give him another year.

DT, TE, WR- either through FA or draft

Coach is good at drafting those unique TE's when he needs them. Possibly grab one 4th or 5th then sign Graham and we're set. It will be either DE/DT or CB in the 1st and 3rd.

An athletic LB is high on my list

Re: Wisconsin tight end Troy Fumagalli ... should we draft him?

TE that have preformed well in the their bowls IMO are

Mark Andrews TE Oklahoma 6042 254 4.77 #81 rJr
Mike Gesicki TE Penn State 6052 252 4.76 #88 Sr
Troy Fumagalli TE Wisconsin 6054 249 4.84 #81 rSr
Marcus Baugh TE Ohio State 6041 250 4.84 #85 rSr

Many have the lack of effort in blocking attempts. Just put a honest effort into it is all I am looking for. Small school guys are harder to peg and I have to wait to see how they do at the pre draft work outs

A cheap FA we should try to bring back is

Cameron Brate TE Tampa 6050 249 4.77 UDFA
