why I want to get burnett

I agree on Burnett. IMO, he will be just as good a pro as DJ. And the thing I like most about him is that he excels at coverage so he wouldnt be just a fast OLB like Hodge who cant turn his hips for anything.

Some will argue he isn\'t worth the 16th pick, but I wouldn\'t be disappointed if we picked him.
Some say we should trade down and still get him. The problem with that is everyone wants to trade down. I doubt the 16th pick will warrant much in a trade down, if you can find any takers.

I\'ve read some teams (like Miami) will simply pass a few picks if they can\'t get any good offers. They\'ll still get the guy they want but will end up paying #7 money to the same player instead of #2 money.
Thats kinda crazy but it is an interesting paradygm shift.

I\'ve been reading that stuff, too. Makes me wonder if the agents are gonna revolt...

Bet we\'ll see our share of difficult signings over the summer anyway.

I think Burnett could be had later in the first but I agree that we arent in a position to trade down to get him. I just worry that he wont fall to us in the second. If we could get Burnett or Crowder with the second, then I would be very very happy.
