Way too much

We are getting entirely too much love in the press. I sense that all this attention is distracting and causing a loss of focus. How do we stop this? Where’s the trash talk?

I've heard a couple folks on TV say we can do it, but most say we can't.

Personally I'm not confident enough to call a win, their defense is for real, even if they did have a cake schedule, but I sure think we can hang 20+ on 'em, and that could be good enough.

IDK ... winning 8 straight games, arguably the best RB tandem in the history of the NFL, ELITE rookie play the entire season, Free Agents stepping up, possible unanimous rookie(s) of the year on OFFENSE AND DEFENSE.

Why wouldn't we get "love" from the press? This is a very good team.

The Saints are going to win. I have no doubt about it. It is a given.

15-5 Baby!

Gonna take a high caliber QB to defeat the Vikes D at this stage. Saw that last week, Panthers did about as best they could against Brees. He still made the throws. That's probably what the media is taking into account but I don't think any real Saints fan thinks it will be any easier.

I'm as real as you can get and I feel like it will be easier than the first meeting AND easier than facing Carolina.

Wear out the Vikings defense for 4 quarters. The Saints have a good O line. A Strength.

Griffin vs Armstead
Ramz vs Hunter

Playoff football is about dominating in the trenches. You win here, you take away their will. If this offense gets to the second level, Vikes will be back pedaling.

Footnote - the bye week could be a liability for MN. No one on the roster has significant playoff experience. Saints now have every player with a playoff win, a SB MVP and a Ambush Coach. Take advantage of "jitters" early, tee off on Keenum second half.

I like my chances with the Black and Gold. Let's go.

Their team is probably the most complete in the NFL at this moment. They have talent at every position.

That being said, their fans know that their team is good and aren't afraid to say we are going to lose, it would be fantastic if we shut their fans up.

Oh please we gots lots of love in 2009.

The thing is the Saints are a loveable team. There isn't much to hate and we don't find oursleves in BS drama situations.

Plus we are the only pro sports team with a Flower for a logo. I got laid at the Ravens stadium because I was a Saints fan at that game, LMAO.

ESPN's "experts" are going for us more than against us so far...

Most everything I see is the game is going to be tight, but Minn wins because of their defense. A balance Saints team with an effective run game who wins the 3rd down battle on both sides of the ball wins, IMO.

Not true. Too many stupid people out there who remember the Bountygate Scandal & loath the Saints for it.

True, many of those are non-football people who typically don't watch or pay attention BUT we are not a "loved" team in a lot of places & to a lot of people.

People are stupid & parrot what they hear and then believe whatever they hear as long as it seems to come from a somewhat reliable source.

I believe that we can win this game. I am concerned that our running game was completely shut down last week and our passing game only has Thomas. We also lost a stud on the O-line last week and we are built to play indoors on turf.

I would not count on Hill in the cold because his lack of consistency scares me. If they can shut down Thomas then we have no other weapons.

Rugby,
MN game is in the cozy new stadium indoors or are you leap frogging ahead to a possible show down with Philly at their place next week?
