Not a bad thing. He is a fumble risk every time he gets the ball.

He has been making me nervous. Next man up. We should be used to that by now.

We may have to activate someone, maybe Austin Carr, not for playing but insurance.

Been a huge disappointment; usually only good for 1 catch per game. Fumble risk too high.

Careful here ... Coleman is a hell of a blocker.

Yep he seems to enjoy blocking, definately his strong point.

I forgot he is 6'6" big body. Easy to forget about that aspect.

He has been playing better in the last few games. I think we will miss him. But, several Snead sightings could really help in the short passing game against Minny.

That fact had escaped me. Good call - he is an excellent blocker. Now I'm more worried. We need our run game to succeed.

Very difficult to find 6'6" WR's or TE that are even ok. I think Atlanta had about 3 of them at one point and none worked out. Yeah, he was never going to be great but he did have some 80 yard games and liked to block. He will be missed.

Re: Coleman out Sunday

I am not worried about the running game and him not being there to block... Minny has a great run D.

Minny is built to stop the run and deep passing routes.

Minny has some weakness on defense that we can exploit; the LBs they have are great at blitzing and run defense, but they are worse than ours in coverage. This won't be a big game for us running the ball but we should be hitting the RBs and TEs over the middle all day. The RB choice routes and RB wheel action could win the game for us.

May be for the best. Hopefully we see the old Snead back and this is a game we could use his speed. Their corners are hella good and we need someone to spread the field a little and draw in a safety to help. Would greatly benifit our running game. May help the blocking drop off we will see without Coleman.

Re: Coleman out Sunday

The guys who will be taking his snaps have their own skill sets that could help us. Is Coleman that much better than Snead or Tommylee Lewis. Of Snead, Coleman and Lewis I like Lewis the best. Couldnt Lewis be Wes Welker? I think we might need Snead, Hill, Ginn or Lewis to make a few big plays. The Vikes very well may stop the run and Mike Thomas. Luckily, Hill and Ginn looked great last week. The great thing about Ginn is he's a legit blazer. Xavier Rhodes is a big, athletic, agressive corner. Cool. If he turns his head to look at Kmara in the backfield, Ginn is gone. Nobody catchin him.

Line up Taysom Hill in the slot. Or as a Free Safety...or punt returner...maybe just put him on both sides of the ball and tell him to 'go get 'em!'. 😁

That's right...

For all his lastest miscues handling the ball, his big frame allows him to create a big arc to seal off tacklers...

This effects those running backs tearing off the long runs; guess we'll see if Snead or Carr steps ups...

Re: Coleman out Sunday

Coleman will definitely hurt us with blocking. I could not believe after his previous fumble problems that he was carrying the ball with one hand not tucked. Hopefully, Snead becomes the xc factor.
