If Hill is really a good QB, then I see him replacing Chase Daniel as the primary backup. If that happens, no more special teams, slash roll, etc. If the guy is just a great athlete but with limited QB potential, then yes, he is good enough for the Saints to find a roll for him doing something else.

SP seems to insinuate he is the guy...because he sure as **** cannot be talking about chase.

I'm always a little hesitant when SP puts praise on people, back in 2014 he called Josh Hill "a pro bowl player"

Watching Highlights of Taysom in College, he is not an accurate passer and scrambles a lot. I'd like a QB that can run, but Taysoms college reel is littered with over thrown slants and no real touch on lofted passes.

SP could be blowing smoke ... he gave Aikman and Buck a nice story line with the Hill "QB in the building talk"

.. That next "guy" may still be in college. But I will say Taysom is a guy to keep in eye on at camp. Heck of an athlete.

I've been wondering why he doesn't hold on extra points and field goals. Start him doing it now and nobody will think about a fake kick later.

I am with you on this. You want the best 11 players on the field. The guy has speed and other talents we haven't seen yet.
