If you listened to their radio show you would know why.
Bobby and Deke cut a lot of people off and are rude to most casual fans.
Both can sound awful on the mic and Bobby takes the cake for slurring words and drunk at times.

In their defense, a lot of stoners and drunks call in and talk real slow. But not all are drunk and stoned, and they take a knee jerk approach and body slam a lot of fans trying to ask questions to learn the game. It comes off as arrogant.

Both are bad. Bobby is bad but Deke goes to another level of bad. Hebert threw out F* bombs on live radio, challenging callers to fights last week :rolleyes:. Embarassing.

Poor sports broadcasting & I'm not at all surprised to read this.

There is little to no radio talent any more in New Orleans...

It's been downhill since Jim Henderson, well all of us, lost Hokie Gajan...

Henderson and Archie Manning were great as well - for me that was as good as Gajan...

Archie offered better insight and predicted things more accurately...

And Gajan had those terrific Hokie-isms that were an entertainment in and of itself...

I really HATED Deuce at first but I have to admit the more comfortable he gets the more he is growing on me.

I miss Buddy D.

I really think New Orleans radio should be peopled with black people so the real New Orleans is represented and outside listeners get a first hand experience of how brilliant the people in our city really are.
