Honestly, I didn't expect to see Kamara exploding on the scene the way he did as a rookie.

I don't think any of us did K. I thought he'd probably do well in this offense and have a few nice splash plays, but never in my wildest dreams did I think he'd be a legitimate superstar.

I’m just happy as hell that he’s on our team.

I thought he would do better than Peterson on day one due to pass catching but no way anyone thought it would be greatness. Really no reason why he could not have a better season either being the starter right out the gate next year. If he is still doing returns it gets into all purpose yards area record.

With The signing of Peterson, I thought it was a wasted pick with a crowded backfield of Daniel Lasco, Travis Cadet, with the majority of carries going to Ingram, then I factored in we probably be relying on the arm of Brees which made it a even more wasted pick. BOY WAS I WRONG! Like I said before, eating my crow and loving it

I remember watching his college highlights over and over after we drafted him, just noticing how easy and fluid he looked running the ball, especially between the tackles.

Never imagined he would score 14+ TD's in his rookie season though!

His college highlights look almost identical to NFL highlights.

And that just isn’t supposed to happen.

We start every season with a crowded back field. Because one season we ended with an empty backfield.

Seems like just yesterday Pierre Thomas was laying in Candle Stick with a head injury during a playoff game.

Or we had rushing yards in a playoff game attributed to names like Julius Jones...

Or Ladelle Betts was trying to get us into the playoffs.

A crowded backfield at the start of the season was a hard lesson learned.

Remember Mike Bell's wrong cleats lol

The way he disperses kinetic energy is a thing of beauty.

True greatness requires humility. Hope he doesn't forget that.

And a good running back increases in (trade) value during a season for teams trying to stay competitive...

Good veteran RBs can pick up, adapt to an offense quickly; and to have a deep run, yes, you got have three at minimum...
