Exactly. Yea it might be a good idea to get good value for Ingram now. However, when assessing what Ingram will bring to the team next year, I feel like a lot of people are overlooking how much the tandem backfield helps Brees longevity.

How many dozens of other backs have had a 1600 yard season splitting carries pretty much evenly with another back? Ever....2 I think. Ever.

We still have him under contract for another year. I don't think we will mess with the team chemistry this off season. I would like to see us give him an extension before next year and keep this tandem together.

I still believe that we should invest in the O-line again this off season. Either through free agency or the draft. I'm tired of taking chances on a late rounder that we need to develop. With a good O-line our backs will have bigger holes and Drew could manage the game for several more seasons when his skills eventually begin to deteriorate but his mind is still sharp.

I would prefer we go into next season with the same threat in the backfield. New O-Linemen...sure, Receivers...why not? I just don't think we should just get rid of Ingram.

Because when it REALLY mattered, it was Kamara that did the heavy lifting. I hate the defense being on the field with under a minute left trying to win a game. Ingram has been a letdown against playoff teams(not the panthers and falcons) and Kamara has been golden.
