PJ is very average in the slot and certainty not a guy I trust on the outside. Remember what our secondary looked like when Lattimore went down? |

So this is where we stand before re-signing or drafting any help...

Bring in a true slot corner via FA. I'm not ruling out Malcolm Butler either.
Draft a SS or see what it would take to acquire Morgan Burnett or take a flyer on Eric Reid. Offer Breaux a vet minimum, let him compete for a roster spot. I don't think he's a lock to make this 2018 team. |

I would rather sign Moore, Bush and Breaux for the price it might be for KV. We have bigger needs than a safety that may not even start. Need a WR to go with MT and Ginn. Maybe steal a TE in the draft. Not to mention our O-line.

Butler is not the slot CB everyone thinks he is and his market price won't justify his production - bank it...

Butler... if he had a chance to run to any team, we will be prime suspect.
We had a very good meet with him last off season before the trades were happening. He knows who we are after the time he spent last off season. |
