Who brings back a team and names them the Browns? People with no winning history is who. And the way that organization is run they can't win and should be moving in just a few more years. Cleveland.....where talent goes to die!

Now. Now. The Browns, under Paul Brown, were the most innovative and dominant team in the NFL. Then Modell fired Brown. As the Saints can attest to, stupid owners can produce decades of misery.

That’s a good deal that Cleveland made. They have the cap and they also picked up a QB. They have some weapons on defense now...Gordon, Landry, Coleman, and Njoku. This means that without a doubt Barkley is their 1st pick...that’s a damn good start to the off season for them. They could be the 2nd best team in the AFC North by the start of camp....at least potentially lol

Browns made some good moves yesterday. I hope it works out for them. The fans deserves some good years after having theor franchise pulled out from under them and a decade of terrible owners and front office.

a 4th round pick?
Seriously, WTF is that?

In 6 months the Dolphins have traded their best 2 offensive players for 4th round picks

Seriously - 2006 NFL Draft, Pick #108, 4X First Team All-Pro Jahri Evans - Fourth Round...

Can't stress enough the value of Draft Capital - the more darts to hit the bullseye, the better your chances...

The Saints 2017 NFL Draft is an extreme, but excellent example of how having more picks in a draft can change fortune...

all due respect JP, but I'm guessing there have been more All-Pro's drafted in rounds 1-3 than 4-7

My point was that I would have expected Landry to fetch a lot more

This is true. compiling picks is one thing. Compiling low picks for players you should at least get one second rounder for is not the best way to compile said picks, when the 'hits' on low round guys are far fewer.

Jarvis Landry is a beast. Dude blocks like Hines Ward and has bigger hands than Odell Beckham. He produces period. Not necessarily the best fit for the Saints though. I'm this forum's biggest LSU homer so it kills me to ask? What does having the two best possession receivers in the league get you? It would remind me of Eric Martin and Lonzel Hill. LOL. I want DJ Chark.
