Pass rush, OL among needs as Saints try to keep run of draft success going

If Darius Guice is there at 27 we can't pass him up. He reminds me so much of Deuce, talent and character wise. I want Guice bad. Guice is up to 224 lbs and I'm kind of hoping his combine 40 suffers a little. 4.4 and forget him at 27. He's the best RB in the draft, mark my words. In 2016 he ran for 1300 yds averaging 7.3yds per carry in the SEC and LSU couldn't throw the ball. Andbsolute stud! DJ Chark at LSU had a catch, return and carry for a TD over 75 yds. Only Kevin Faulk did that before Chark who they call "Flash" on a team known for guys with blazing speed. He's 6"3 and can fly. A perfect compliment to Mike Thomas. We need a WR who can turn a 5yd curl into a big gain. He is definetely that guy. Hopefully his lack of production due to LSUs inept passing game lets his dazzling talents slip. Russel Gage is a jack of all trades WR who only really played one year and hasn't played WR long but his talent and toughness are evident. He reminds me a lot of Golden Tate and could be drafted late or even picked up as a free agent. Arden Key would be hard to pass up past the 1st round and he can surely rush the passer but I suspect someone will reach on him and I wouldn't. After we draft Guice I'm thinking we trade Ingram for Jimmy Graham or Malcolm Butler. Guice and Kmara would be the best RB duo in NFL history. Dontae Jackson is a tall corner with 4.2 speed, 10.2 100m. Will Clapp was rated the 2nd best center in the SEC last year and graded out as LSUs best offensive player. Darrel Williams is a bowling ball of a RB who runs real low to the ground, weighs 230+ and has phenomenal hands and finished last year 2nd on the team in receptions despite limited playing time. Williams reminds me of a bigger version of Kareem Hunt. He could be a steal late in the draft. Christian Locotoure led the SEC in tackles for defensive lineman. He is a solid run stuffer who could at least provide depth on the D line and could even be a starter.

Eh, we can't draft a RB. Pass rush, OL, linebackers, WR... theres so many other positions that we could use. Drafting a RB would be a waste imo. I like the draft philosophy of best available, but the concept has its limits.

BillyT we already have that. Ingram and Kamara BOTH had more than 1500 yards from scrimmage in 2017 & are Pro Bowlers. That's unprecedented.

We don't need Guice.

Of course we need him but he won't be there at 27. I'm dreaming of course. If he did fall to 27 and we passed on him I'd have a heart attack of course. There are just so many LSU players who are gonna be great NFL players, can't we get a couple, a few? This year several good ones could be late great value picks. I do this every year.

We've got to get our pass rush on and depth on our offensive line...
