Sign Eric Reid! Stop blackballing the guy and let’s go win a ring. Von Bell can’t start this year.

Eric Reid can't cover either - first thing a defensive back has to be able to do is cover, somewhat, and not be a liability as Reid is...

But you're right re: Vonn Bell, no better than Kenny Vacarro, Roman Harper - none of whom could cover, but the latter were better tacklers...

Jamerson was a lights out safety at Wisconsin last year, play him at Safety already, let the new guy take his slot at slot cornerback...

In today's NFL, the Strong Safety is going the way of the two-down Mike Linebacker, just run with true coverage safeties cleaning up the backfield...

That’s true, but he’s still a lot better than Bell. Plus he’ll go and create turnovers. It’s hard to find SS’s that can cover.

So why sign a guy who's not gonna be a significant improvement because he can't cover? Bell is still on his rookie contract, play it out, no improvement, move on...

I'm very critical of Payton/Loomis personnel moves, but the decision to sign Coleman, especially for what we paid, was a solid move, he's the better starting option...

Not willing to concede that there's coordinated collusion against Reid, but I do believe most teams share a common trait of not wanting drama in their locker rooms...

Irregardless of how important the issue may be, even those more important than football, the only challenges a football team really needs to face is winning games...

If individual players want to challenge for social change, they have the financial resources, their foundations, and a lot of time away from football to do so...

Right with you on that perception, JP. It is sad that it comes down to that level, but business is business, at least to those in business.
