Camp body hopefully....he hasn't done anything in the league...don't trust him. He is indecisive in the pocket and turns the ball over waaaaayyyy too much...6 ints, 8 fumbles, 7 lost....just last year alone.

I would rather have Savage over Chase.
Savage has a chance of winning games for you.
Chase would be a placemarker, requiring the rest of the team to win it for you.

He has never had a line like ours or a running game. Not saying I would trust him for a whole season but he hopefully fits our system better.

or at the 7-11 down the street. Believe me coach brought Hill to New Orleans to play QB and he will learn alot from Brees next year and then step in to the #2 role the following year and then starter.

I give Savage maybe a 50% chance of making the roster. Several mock drafts have the Saints drafting Lamar Jackson, I am sure the Saints will also be watching the waiver wire for other viable veteran options, and it's possible Taysom Hill could be ready to assume the top backup spot.

I only saw Savage play a couple of times but he looked competent in the pocket. If he works out that's great......if not then Hill is a happy camper.

Definitely an upgrade from Chase...and I like Chase! Tom will put pressure on the "next one" and that's all good!

My assumption is the saints want Mayfield. Will they trade up to get him? I highly doubt they will be able move up high enough to grab him. Lamar Jackson is out of the equation. I hope if a suitable player don't drop then we trade down and pick DJ Chark in the second round.
