Saints Re-sign Alex Okafor!

Compared to this deal for Adrian Clayborn I’d say we did good on the Okafor contract...

I’d rather have Okafor personally. Clayborn has been mediocre throughout his career until one game against the Cowboys and their backup LT.

I’d rather have Okafor personally. Clayborn has been mediocre throughout his career until one game against the Cowboys and their backup LT.

Clayborn had the better season and isn't coming on a ruptured achilles tendon...

this is how stats don't tell the whole picture. Clayborn had a game not a season better than Okafor. The Cowboys had a backup OT for a backup in that game and OC didn't provide him any help (a running back, tight end or guard to chip block) Clayborne said after the game he beat him with one move the entire game that provided him with 6 sacks. You add 6 sacks to any player and his stats should be impressive after the season
