I hope we target defense at pick #27. You can still get a really good TE/WR in mid rounds.

He's right ya' know!

We have some near-musts at DT and OL as well.

Danno,

Still confused about O-Line. Can you explain? OK, I think I see. I didn't realize that LeRibeus was a UFA. Hopefully he can be resigned.

I sense that everyone is frustrated with Armstead and his health issues. But realistically O-line really can only run 7-8 deep. There's no replacing Armstead at 27 is there?

Still like to get Jordan Matthews in now pre draft.

BPA in the draft

The loss of Kelemete combined with the injury risk with Armstead makes us vulnerable.

I agree our starting 5 is solid, but 6-8 is weak.

I thought that Bushrod's signing was the primary replacement for Kelemete.

Now I agree that anything that keeps Harris off the squad would be welcome. I cringe every time he enters the game.

Signing Bushrod (who played LT on our SuperBowl run) was meant to address that - plus, Bushrod has some experience at guard now...

Issues I see with Bushrod as reserve - Bushrod will be 34yo when the season starts, he's got his big Mo in the bank, and Armstead has started, not finished 17 games in two seasons, so can a 34yo Olinemen with money in the bank and a ring really be that motivated for this 2018 team?

Does anyone else remember the number of times we changed the starting line-up last year? If Armstead misses his average time and another player goes down we could lose our running and passing game fast and watch our offense go down hill. No! No! We've been investing heavily in the O-line but we don't really have any depth to speak of. I want to draft O-line early and if it's BPA in the first then I'm down with that.

I think there are still some players out there who could help:

Free Agency Report | NFL.com

We are going with quantity (old and oft-injured quantity at that) over quality at tight end. If SP says it's a concern, I'm not sure why we didn't grab one of the 5-6 available.
To me, his comments also say that Fleener will be designated a June 1 cut, saving us 3 million. Of course that means 5 million dead as well
