this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; How did they even trade him? Thought Cooks was a 1 yr deal? Confused as hell. Pats were going to do this regardless of production. No way they were resigning him at that price. They use up and toss out ...

How did they even trade him? Thought Cooks was a 1 yr deal? Confused as hell. Pats were going to do this regardless of production. No way they were resigning him at that price. They use up and toss out WR's and RB's like the weather. Meanwhile we are holding on to a 29 yr old RB...meh...I like Ingram but geez, get something for him right now! in less than 24 months he is outta here.
