Please do better then last year......or just as well.

We have half the picks that we used in the first three rounds last year and we pick later in the round as well. There will be less talent on the board but talent is still available if you do your homework. Kamara is a prime example.

We also do not have as many holes to fill ... thanks to the last two drafts and the free agent acquisitions.

Exactly. Because of those few holes to fill, the chances are greater this year that we may do something really unusual...

We could actually move back to select a need at a more apropros spot in the draft and build depth for a title run...

Considering there are only about 20 first round prospects this year, there’s no better time to trade out of the first. Cleveland has 3 second round picks (#33, 35 and 64)... I’d hope like hell they’re eyeing a LT or something to trade back into the first round for.

CLE receives pick #27
NO receives picks #33 and 64

Something like that could be ideal.

I'd send them a LT with a good for us exit re-worked contract and the 27, for the rights to Joe Thomas and all three of those second rounders...

That is a pipe dream. That would be like hitting the lottery twice in consecutive weeks.

Let's just be happy that we hit the lottery once last year. If we can get one productive starter out of this draft, it'll likely be a win.

Marshon Lattimore single- handily upgraded our entire defense. Just think if we land another big fish on D @ 27. Saints were already a good team last season ... if we can stay healthy ... look out.

Jeff Duncan of the Times-Picayune was on Inside New Orleans Sports with Eric Asher last night...

Duncan has mocked Vander Esch & Bryan to us, but he's of the opinion that with few holes, Saints will likely consolidate picks, moving around in draft...

I don't follow the draft like a lot of you guys, but I have a feeling we won't be picking at 27. Up or down I have no idea, but I suspect we're going to be moving.

With the jets hot on him I don't think so. Miami also apparently wants him at 11. Saints may not have enough to trade into the top ten.

I mean the bills, not jets, who are even looking to trade up.

Even if he got by the bills he would never make it past Arizona.

Exactly. He's not falling to us at 27 and the likelyhood of the Saints moving inside the top 15 is very slim.

No one likes your new avatar btw. It's too serious. Your glue eating one was better. Bananas playing guitars is ridiculous. Bananas can't play guitars. They don't have arms and fingers. Or brains. Or the capability of thought.

According to NFL.com, someone picks us to trade up with the bears at 8. The bears are looking to trade down if they don't get Q Nelson.

Well Sir, I think bananas and guitars make a perfect combination. I don't have a yellow one yet. Yet...
