Bears are not matching two-year, $10 million offer sheet that RFA WR Cameron Meredith signed last week with the New Orleans Saints, per league source.

Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy met with Meredith to inform him of decision.

LMAO at Bears fans justifying it by saying $5 mil/year was too risky since he’s coming off the ACL tear, but they’re giving Allen Robinson $14 million/year coming off an ACL tear.

I still say DE and DT in the 1st and we trade up into the 2nd to get one or the other. We'll trade our #2 in 2019 and 1 4, 2 5's and 7 this year.

What made us money last year was primo blocking downfield from our WR's. MT and Coleman were leveling defenders when called on. He's a good WR but if he can block....we got a great deal.

Agreed.

If healthy Meredith could go nuts with Drew & Thomas. Pace is either gonna look like a genius (gamble White and Robinson) or an idiot. With Ryan's track record .... I'll say the latter :p.

He is not huge but should be big enough to be decently effective as a blocker. Intriguing prospect atleast.

I hope they pick the best player available that can be a piece for a long time regardless of position. I seriously doubt they are thinking of specific positions in the first.

They could go with Dallas in this spot but I still think it's the best defensive lineman available. They're not looking at a QB because Hill is it!
