How does he not sound confident? I listened to a live interview with him on NFL Radio a couple of days ago and he sounded VERY confident and upbeat. He reiterated the fact that his recovery is on schedule and he felt sure he would be ready for the regular season, if not even training camp. He said he is already running on grass.

Idk. It could be just the way I'm reading it. That's why I said "maybe its just me". His quotes in articles just don't read like hes excited and confident. To me they almost read like hes disappointed that Chicago didn't take him and hes hopeful but maybe unsure that his knee will be okay.

Like I said, I haven't seen any actual interviews with him or anything. And I could be reading it wrong.

So you remember Meredith had 888 yards in 12 games with Barkley throwing him the ball that year ... half of that was in the slot. He's a very versatile, young player that will take the heat off Mike.

I saw a enough to see that once Cam M is 100%, he's a weapon in this offense.

He's good enough. If he was great they would have matched the offer. Brees though makes average WR's look great so he should be fine if he stays on the field whenever he gets on the actual field again.

It's hard to speculate what Ryan Pace and his brain trust were thinking. Bears faithful seem to think it could be more of RP inability to let go of White who is starting to look like a bust or possibly not wanting 3 guys on their roster coming off serious injuries.

Up to this point, it's all conjecture. The Bears either know something others don't about his rehab or they don't think Cam is a good "fit" & would rather invest $$ elsewhere. Who knows.

Just kick back and let this play out in 2018 :smokin:.

White could have came back late in the season but they left him on IR which was shocking to me. Either way, it's a roll the dice situation for us. I still think he will be fighting for the 3 or 4 spot. If he makes it to 2 we won the roll.

the read i'm getting from him is not the injury at all, its the moving part that has him bummed. i dont care how much money one has or gets or getting later to move your asrse 1000 miles from where u are used to just makes anyone kinda unsure whats ahead.

That's a legit point. All he knows is Illinois but that is life. He will adapt just like he did going from QB to WR.

Boy this sure would be a great development and shed even more light while Willie walked...

He'll be 26 start of the season with only one good season is another concern. He struggled his first year to get in the lineup and will likely struggle again if he misses camp on a new team.

Well the Saints weren't committed to paying a guy like Sammy Watkins 14+M (IMO he's over paid based on production) a season . If Cameron comes back 100% (which I believe he will) then he's worth a lot more than what he was paid. If not, no real biggie. It was a 2 year deal with 1 guaranteed.

Sean Payton and company could give him the tap (cut him) after the 2018 season if he doesn't return to form. Solid move by the Saints. Solid.
