Everyone has a part to play. Your part is clowning. Danno's part is being an Alabama homer. Asylum's part is arguing and refusing to be wrong until his counterpart simply gives up. FF has his cats. Xan's part is to get on chat during game day until we start losing then leave and we start winning again. Chris and KMajor are both logical, sensible and courteous. Dizzle is a gameday pessimist. Beast's job is to post "should we" threads. JP's job is to post in BOLD. Halo runs the show. And my job is to drink. See? We all have a place here at the Black and Gold forum. (Sorry I couldn't name everyone and their job...that'd take an eternity) |

What an amazingly dysfunctional bunch we are.
But if Halo is our Daddy, who's da mama? And why isn't Mike Brady in this picture? And don't tell me he's the one taking it, because if he were Cindy wouldn't have that look on her face... http://www.gstatic.com/tv/thumb/tvba...13_b_v8_ab.jpg |

Trade him now. Go get a couple of picks and take emotions out of it. I love the guy but I want those picks. Too many good RB's this draft. We could land another one just as good in the 2nd or 3rd. There is much much value in this draft. He's not even the starter anymore.

Good luck (2 picks) on getting those picks. Remember the Miami trade last year with Jay Ajayi ?... the guy had over 1200 rushing yards ... he went for a 4th & Lynch for a 5th  AK played lights out last season, however I have to emphasize how important Mark was in the run game as well. You can trust him in the back field. By all accounts, he's had a lot less "wear and tear" than quite a few other 7 year backs. Saints are in win now mode. All hands on deck. MI is a key cog to SP offense. Why go from consistent production to the unknown? Trading a proven talent for a rookie (draft picks) don't make sense to me. |
Re: Nola.com Mark Ingram Switches Agents Heading Into Contract Year
I would at a minimum entertain it. If we can't get a couple of picks then no but I feel someone would bite. He has the skills to be the starter everyone wants right now; a runner and a receiver. Probably one of the best out there. Certainly in the top tier. This is what I love about the Pats. They know when to maximize value. Letting Blount go they didn't even second guess it after scoring like 20 TD's or something stupid.
