Re: NFL to release 2018 regular-season schedule Thursday
It’s great to open and close the season with two home games.
Also, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Drew Brees should become the all-time NFL passing yards leader on MNF against the Redskins. (Assuming roughly 300 passing yards per game.) |
Re: NFL to release 2018 regular-season schedule Thursday
Saints must get out of the gate early (avoid 0-2) this season ... home field advantage is doable.

Re: NFL to release 2018 regular-season schedule Thursday
Another year with a way too early bye week. At least we don't open on the road again.

We're gonna be 5-0 at the bye!
Wins=11/12 (or better) Championship! |
Re: NFL to release 2018 regular-season schedule Thursday
5 prime time games. Wow. I'm keeping my options open to go to the Saints/ Falcons Thanksgiving game. Like that we have Pittsburgh in the dome. If we had to go there, then we might be in trouble. That Baltimore game looks to be the toughest of all the away games. Dallas would be number two on that list. I'm not convinced the Vikings are going to be as good as they were last year, plus the Saints will be going in with a chip on their shoulder.

We have a gauntlet to end the season. Good thing it looks like we have a 5 game extension of preseason. Better make it count. Saints love their 0-2 starts. No excuses this year. Glad we get Rams at home. I doubt Philly will be much of a problem. So how long do you think it will be until goodelll makes an exception just for us and gives us a Monday night game followed by a Thursday night game the same week? Has any team had back to back Thursday night games? |

Why is this not rotating to us?) Week 5 (10/8): Washington Redskins (Monday Night Football), 7:15 p.m. (These have always been tough for us) Week 6 (10/14): BYE WEEK Week 7 (10/21): at Baltimore Ravens, 3:05 p.m. Week 8 (10/28): at Minnesota Vikings (Sunday Night Football), 7:20 p.m. (Again, we played there last season, they should be coming to the Dome.
