He was in the grocery store and his wife stopped me when she saw my 1967 logo Saints shirt. Nice folks and he still looks like a tough dude!

They must live close by here in Houston.

They said they lived in an apartment in NO every year. Never moved to La. Probably hard to do that today with all the community involvement and off season programs which didn't exist much back then. Said they did that for 13 years.

Probably the best defensive back in Saints history. We've never had really good ones, but he'd been among the best ever on better teams then.

Sammy Knight, now Marshon Lattimore - not a rich history in DBs, but they were some serious ball hawks...
