What Would Hagan Do?
Hey all,
It's been a while since I've posted. Took a new position last fall that required way too much of my effort and time, then that little heartbreak in Minnesota and finally the huge heartbreak of losing Hagan. Haven't really known what to say or who to say it to. I miss him. The time I've lately spent lurking here following some of the threads has caused me to question quite frequently, "What would Hagan do?" He was always a guy who would pretty much avoid the petty squabbles and the political crap that pops up here from time to time. Hell, he was even nice to WillSaints81! His passion and focus was the Saints and it was pretty hard to distract him from that. I felt really proud the day he sent me a Friend Request and count that as one of the real high points of being here. So I ask myself, "What Would Hagan Do?" 1. Be nicer to everyone on the Forum. 2. Don't involve myself in the little squabbles that keep popping up here. 3. I'll never be able to invest the passion and time he did on the Saints as my wife, kids and grandkids (Being a grandpa is the coolest thing in the world!) have first dibs on that. But I will work on following them more closely. 4. Finally, demand first and foremost, WHY THE HELL DIDN'T WE PICK A TIGHT END IN THIS DRAFT??? |
Re: What Would Hagan Do?
We kinda did...get a TE.
Meet Deon Yelder, the underrated gem of the 2018 TE class There are plenty of recognizable names from bigger programs among this year’s tight end class, but if you’re looking for a late-round sleeper who could make some noise at the next level, Western Kentucky’s Deon Yelder has all the tools to be that guy. A well-rounded prospect who excelled in his first season as a starter in 2017, Yelder recently spoke exclusively with Draft Wire about his experience at the Senior Bowl, why his pro day performance helped ease his disappointment over not getting a combine invite, and why he can help a team win a Super Bowl. |

What would Hagan do?
He would mediate while giving his input and listen to others. He would spend more time than almost any of us researching this year's picks. He would be here relishing in the fun debates and knowing that once again, just as every one of us, hope and pray and argue and wish to once again bring the trophy home.'' What would Hagan do? He would have us all being there one hundred percent behind the Saints this season. He is there and don't forget it. This season is for our special friend, Hagan! |

Yep.
Thanks to all on this post and keeping the memory of Hagan alive. Obviously he was well respected on this forum. |
