Vaccaro, Harris, Kikaha, Edmunds, Lasco, Lewis all will have to step it up to stay here.

?? With the signing of FA Kurt Coleman this off season, I think the KVacarro ship has sailed in New Orleans.

I wonder where though. I'm a little surprised no one has even so much as sniffed Vacarro

It appears teams are going with the "rookie approach" rather than signing a veteran who will command too much coin.

I could see KV eventually land somewhere on a 1 year "prove it" deal.

Side note - Kenny did meet with the Dolphins a few weeks back however no deal was made.

What happened to Breaux?

Would like to keep Vacarro and Lasco. Vacarro at a much lower pay grade for sure but he has experience with our defense and even if he's a 3rd that's OK we need depth in the secondary at all positions and last few years should provide the reason why.

Did we not resign him to a contract? After the misdiagnosis you would think the team would at least bring him back for training camp. There should be some sort of loyalty shown by the front office. On the other hand he might have taken it personally when we were saying he needed to be available and work through the pain. Oh yeah, we also tried to trade him......

Idk. It’s like he doesn’t exist. Is he or is he not still on the team?

Delvin Lionel Breaux (born October 25, 1989) is an American football cornerback who is currently a free agent.
According to Wiki.

Breaux took free agent visits to Denver and New England and they didn’t sign him either.

Feel for him. Has the ability and looks like he could be a great back, just needs to prove himself. Unfortunately he gets injured before he gets a chance to.

Saints are gonna evaluate their draft, UDRFA, and Camp Invitees; at that point, if Saints don't like their depth, Breaux may be brought back...

Unfortunately, with the local wussies we have for Saints beat writers, the hard questions aren't likely to get asked of SP...

Payton got major egg in his face over Breaux and there may be some unreported legal machinations happening re: Breaux, Westbank and Saints are moving on...

I don't even know why Lasco is mentioned. The guy has done absolutely nothing as a Saint. Minus the injury, he wouldn't have been a Saint last year.

You sure about that Cruize? Lasco was an above average special teams player/gunner for the Saints. It's unfortunate that he had that injury but solid on s/t.

Lasco was fumbling just before the injury and Coach Payton had stated he needed his progression had stalled...

Over the weekend, I was going back through some Draft Notes re: Kenny V...

Anyways, reading the tea leaves here, but Vaccaro's Wikipedia article photo has changed to a blurry U-Texas photo from his Saints photo...

I speaking specifically on special teams. Not as as a RB.

Banjo and Hardee have excelled in his absence.
