Dang. Kamara hasn't shifted into Top Gear? If that's true then people best buckle up because it going to be one hell of a ride.

I believe that Kamara is correct. I expect him to kick it up a notch and have even a better season.

Plus, Payton has had the entire offseason to develop new ideas for his new toy. Get ready.

What exactly is SP coaching Kamara right here?

Looks like he's getting him to square the face at contact.

Peyton said he reminded him of Marshal Faulk. That was all I had to hear. I knew he was gold. Looks like the man in Madden 2000 on coke. Got him for $1 in FF. Best dollar I ever spent.

I'm thinking we are believers, each and everyone of us here are drinking the Kamara Kool-Aid.

He sounds like the type of player that will invent a slight if there is none to be found. Just to get som extra motivation to keep grinding and getting better.

You have to get us a Superbowl ring and I will be a believer.

As along as he doesn't try to do too much his second year. Honestly, he had such a good 6.1 yards per carry because Ingram helped wear down defenses and he may not be as efficient in too broad of a role.

Payton already said he doesn't expect more touches because of Ingram's suspension. Hopefully, someone else will become a force in the RB by committee.

Conclusion ...

AK was well deserving of the ROY award, however I saw a player who was also a serious MVP candidate. Let that sink in for a second.

Year 2 could be even more special. He wants to become great.

He was getting more than Ingram at the end of the season. He will get more touches than whoever is back there to include Ingram. He just won't be getting all of them which most RB's don't anyway. Probably around 65/35 and if Ingram returns 60/40.

Key thing is to get more playmakers on the field with him. Last year it was Kamara and Thomas with flashes of Ginn. The big hole at tight end really hurt. Fill that hole with Watson and have Meredith and/or Smith live up to potential and Kamara finds even more open space. Add in an improving defense and he get even more touches.

Considering that he'll be a key part of the offense starting with game 1, I expect that his 2018 numbers will be crazy.

Kamara only had more carries than Ingram in one game last year ... game one.

Kamara - 7; Ingram - 6

Week nine they both had 12 carries. I'll have to factor in catches, as well, but Ingram was still getting a good share of those. In a glance the receptions were favoring Kamara down the stretch but the total touches would be close.

All carries are touches, not all touches are carries...especially with the Mad Visor calling plays...

Kamara reminds me much of former Titan RB Chris Johnson, but with a far better attitude...
