Isn't he already the best in the game? Defensive rookie of ther year right? He can only improve on that. I feel like Revis island will be a thing of the past. Anybody else see the makings of a new dome patrol here? When you geta chance compare our current with the dome patrol players. I'm pretty sure you will see some parallels.

You could very well argue that was Williams INT. Notice how he gently "tapped" the ball back to the inner side of Marshon's butt/leg. Two legit/game changing play makers in the secondary.

Stats from college were better off throwing it in the dirt than in his direction. Even without a great pass rush last year, pretty much same effect. If the rush improves he will indeed get better. So will everyone else but throwing it his way would just be stupid.

Herbert was talking about this regarding Deon one day. He thought the guy was wide open and Deon showed up out of thin air and picked it. Lattimore could be as good as Deon, maybe even better because he will tackle and help.

In 13 games Marshon was dominant (ask Brandin Cooks, Mike Evans, Trubisky etc). His future is very bright.

Totally agree,and I know it's been said many times but we are very fortunate this guy fell to us and equally as fortunate that they were not stupid enough to pass on him

Why worry about something that's four years from now?

The salary cap has been growing at a prodigious rate. In 2022 there will be plenty of money to spread around.

Better to enjoy the ride now than to worry about a distant and unknown future.

When we picked him 1st I said here we go again we were not having to good success with picking CB's in the first round. What a surprise
