...Anzalone believes this time is different. Back in action after undergoing surgery to repair the damage he suffered against Miami in London, Anzalone is confident the shoulder has been repaired.

"It was fixed really well this time," Anzalone said. "My arm fully dislocated, but it was fixed differently."

Anzalone opted not to offer a full medical breakdown of his injury after Thursday's organized team activity, but his shoulder problems at Florida stemmed from issues with the initial repair done to the joint as a freshman...

This is exactly what I was talking about earlier this offseason - Was he getting the level of care he should have been getting at Florida?

Now we just found out if he's fragile or if it was in fact the case he'd never been properly treated while playing in Gainesville...

I'm pulling for Anzalone ... seriously I am. He has the speed/size & skills you need at the LB spot however his past injury history is concerning. From my reading & film study ... great talent at Florida but injury riddled. "Ice up!". The NFC as a whole is deep and talented. We'll need him.

I hope Alex proves me wrong in 2018.

First, I like this kid and he has a lot of talent. But this was the concern on this board by many people when we drafted him. There was a particular person who tried to chide every sincere concern. First year and the same injury hits again. This is why it gets annoying when people have legit concerns about a players health and the same person wants to come on and tell them how they do not know what they're talking about.

I am pulling for him too, but they all say this time is different. I hope it is!

Second that. Can see a Hagan msg now - boy, JP, the paper boys made you look smart predicting that line about getting his shoulder fixed right...

You know you're old when you can predict the news, in this case, that our suspicions were grounded about Anzolone's getting better care vs that at UF...

Anzalone's gotta show he can give and take a beating, the physicality of the game and be able to recover within a week, but this is optimistic news...

If the NFL continues to outlaw tackling, he should have a long career.

I was at the London game where he injured it, his hustle was tremendous tracking down the screen pass but he really hit the ground with some force when he dove for the ball carrier.

I hope he can come back and stay healthy/make some big plays for us.
