Not from what he's said recently in interviews. He's also motivated to gain ALL of the major passing records ... including most touchdown passes. He's 51 away from that one. My take is that he isn't retiring until Brady is gone.

That's very nice that he spoke with his family about retirement.
A lot of us Who-Dats disapprove of this kind of banter.
Were not ready for him to ride out of town on the White Horse yet.

My wife and I talk about her retirement regularly. That doesn't mean she's retiring immediately. We're planning for five years from now. I would expect the same for Drew and his family. Retirement planning is something that should be addressed WELL PRIOR to the actual event if one is prudent. Drew Brees is about as prudent as it gets.

I've been talking about retiring from rugby for years.......one of these days it'll happen. Just not yet!:p
