Multiple reporters/beat writers continue to say the same thing about Marcus ... "he's been the most impressive player at camp".

IMO future All Pro at safety.

He looks motivated to never get beat again. If he hadn't read that play and arrived so quickly he wouldn't have had to avoid a penalty that gave up the Minnesota Murracle.
He's got the makings of a future All Pro. So do a couple of other defensive players. Tee hee. Tee hee!

Our secondary is going to be crazy.

Brees does not seem to be having a very good camp. Good thing practice stats don’t count.

But only if we can pressure the QB.

The defense has seen plays multiple times and know what's coming. You also have WR's not yet on the same page as the QB at this early stage. They were talking about the meaninglessness of preseason practice stats on NFL Radio last week. These were just a couple of reasons they gave for ignoring them.

And everything I have heard or read about Brees so far is that he is looking as sharp as ever.

Defense is almost always ahead of the offense coming out of camp into the beginning of the season - it's a constant at all levels of football...

Those rare occasions, seasons where Brees and the offense came out en fuego was just a testament to how great and dedicated a quarterback we've had...

Starting to get that same sadness as when it was late in the careers of Larry Bird/Kevin McHale/Robert Parish, Bear's Monster of the Midway Walter Payton, The Saints Dome Patrol, Passing Legend Dan Marino, GROAT Barry Sanders, and recently Peyton Manning...

We shall not see Brees' specific kind come our way again, so enjoy it...

Williams may wind up having a better career than Lattimore.
