Left guard Andrus Peat did not participate in the portion of practice open to the media on Wednesday, the only Saint who was not participating as the team gets ready for Sunday's season-opener against Tampa Bay. New Orleans has brought back veteran guards Josh LeRibeus and Michael Ola earlier in the week to go along with rookie Will Clapp and second-year player Cameron Tom, a sign that the Saints want extra depth at the position. Peat left the team's final preseason game with a trainer, but his injury has not been revealed. The starting guard was spotted at practice, but he did not participate. |

Peat may not get the sterling grade from PFF, but he's our monstah on the offensive line...

I really hope this is very minor set back.
We must have Peat later this season. He is a mauler. |

330 pounds just doesn't go with being healthy. :) Bushrod, LeRiebus, or Clapp has to step up. With resigning Ola who's a tackle, it could be Bushrod.

We might not "need" him this week, but after last year, this is not a good sign
