Best wishes all

I'm done for the year - tore my give a **** today.

Strike 1: this commissioner and league is destroying itself while demanding more and more out of its fans. BS rules, pushing for international games, and always greedy and wanting more.

Strike 2: player protests. Multimillionaires screaming about racial and social injustice when they are part of the top 1%. Save it for someone who wants to interrupt their leisure time with politics. Out of touch and not helping their cause with their ill timed actions.

Strike 3: this team. Tired of watching a HOF QB with as much talent as Brady play opposite a bunch of defensive players who apparently never got out of their national anthem kneel. I'm 50 and have been watching Saints football since I was a small child and I've seen a version of 1 side of the football is good play for too long now. I'm done.

I'll still hope in the end the Saints somehow win it all (someone has to) but I know after today they will find a way to screw it up. This team can not handle success or expectations, and that lies with coaching...

Good luck to all who decide to go down with the ship - hope you enjoy each good play you see and can stomach the bad plays enough to not go crazy!

The D believed all the BS press releases about how great they were supposed to be. Apparently, no one told TB.

As for me I'll be back again, streaming illegally of course, for more punishment next week.

Don’t blame you... think I’ll take a break from this team myself depending on next week. I’m willing to accept that we were asleep for this game but if the same type of performance occurs next week I’ll call it a season. Not willing to be pissed off every Sunday this year.

I’m pretty close myself.

Turnover by newly signed rb. Most of us (I think) would have rather seen Boston Scott. Refs robbed M Thomas of a touchdown. Defense drank the cool aid. Expected they would get back to normal after half. That’s on coaching. Offense looking great. I believe this will be the last time we see football like that this year.

It's week 1. And this bucs offense is loaded. Defense needs to adjust though.

NFL is a week to week league.

I'll be back win, lose or draw.

Was gonna share some with and wisdom, but on second thought, this thread isn't worth it...

Rugs is right, just take a deep breath...

Might want to remember there's some folks born without arms who have to feed and wipe themselves with their feet...

I don't blame 'em for trying, but jeesh it just seems to me - a non-NFL-personnel guy - that they over-thought this whole running back mess. Put Scott on the dang team. He played well.

Instead we bring in a guy who hasn't taken a snap with us and, bless his heart he fumbles. We sign a guy to play LBer and don't play him in position. Have mercy.

It's football, not rocket science.

I also figured we would make halftime adjustments but instead we kept on sucking. I gave up early on and played some fortnite.

Next week is another week, and we'll be pissed I'm sure. Let's see if they come out and right some wrongs or if we're truly as bad as we were today. Hey, I've got nothing better to do. I suck at fortnite.

Last thing I remember
I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
"Relax," said the night man
"We are programmed to receive
You can check-out any time you like
But you can never leave!"

LMAO..dude you have no clue. Name me any new player on offense that hasn't been there the last 3 yrs, with the exception Chris Goodwin and OJ Howard ( who only had 2 catch's). And a old mountain man of a QB that hasn't been a starter in 6 yrs. So please, tell me how they are so much more loaded than the last 3 yrs, I'll wait...

I'm not pissed at all. I don't get pissed over something I personally have no control over. Depressed, yes. I hate seeing my Saints lose. But, I'll be right there in front of my TV, unless I'm lucky enough to be in the stands, watching my Saints play every single game for as long as I live.

18-1 Baby!

:bng:

Like Guido's optimism but there has to be some repercussions after was transpired yesterday. They have to shake things up on defense.

Hang in there it happens every year and in the end we'll still be Who Dats.

Repercussions have no impact on my positive outlook. I am always going to look for and hope for the best. I have and always will love my Saints and I refuse to get "pissed" at something I love.

Well one thing is for sure. If Sunday's defensive performance isn't enough to get you pissed then nothing ever will. That was the worst NFL defensive performance I can remember seeing, and I've watched a lot of football.

It was really that bad. And I'm pissed.

It's really a shame Drew Brees gives another Superman like effort, only to be overshadowed by a defense that makes a QB (2nd tier at that) come into our house and look like the second coming of Joe Montana.

Last year was a transition year. They had two new players join the offense that didn't click right off. All of those players are meshing well now, and Fitzpatrick had all offseason to prepare for this game. Oh, did I mention that this was a revenge game? We have gone through transitions ourselves but recently the players are playing well their first year but that is not always the case. Fitz in 2015 with the Jets showed what he can do with healthy weapons. He even helped Chris Johnson have an improved year in 2013, help
