Anzalone looks lost a lot of times.

Davis has been lined up out of his natural position that he excelled at all of last year.

Klein has been awful ever since he put on a Saints uniform. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

For the life of me I can't understand what they are doing with the LBs... Outside of AJ we have good LBs, but we aren't playing any of them in the right position.

Replace D-Klein with Taysom, and then let Robertson drive D-Klein to nearest airport with a one way ticket to a place far far away never to return.

I’ll take a different approach...

When your defense sh1ts the bed for the first couple of games EVERY season but finishes very strong.... someone is tinkering and changing things in the off season and it’s taking players time to relearn schemes to the point that it’s second nature.

1/2 a step off in the NFL is the difference between tackled for a loss or a TD.

Spagnuolo was beat down by Paton once already for obfuscating defenses to the point that it screws with our own players. Looks like Allen is doing the same.

My opinion here may seem like it's coming from left field but I believe coaches seem to be worried that Craig can be a liability against the pass which is laughable. From what I saw yesterday, the entire defense is a liability in short, medium and long passes. A backup QB torched us with outside runs & inside runs. This dude is 35 years old.

But yeah Diz, head scratcher on Robertson.

It seemed like Marcus Williams was having to come up and make a tackle on every running play. It's no wonder he was caught leaning towards the line and wasn't able to play the pass as well.

Where were the linebackers? I saw Davis make a couple of tackles, but the rest were ghosts.

Craig Robertson not starting is beyond me...Marcus Davenport and Onyematta pulling stunts on a 3rd n long is beyond me.... that's not our strong suit let them boys play

We don't have the quickness for stunts...Why did we trade Devaroe Lawrence? You activate alll thise RB just to use Kamara solely by the end of the first Qtr? That could have been Stallworth Devaroe, Muhammad ooops we cut him too maybe Stu...nope cut him too damn the Saints FO are the smartest dummies...Thank you for Teddy because Drew isn't winning a championship if that's the defense he has to do it with.

Hendrickson, Sheldon, Davenport, Anzalone & Davis have very impressive speed (3 cone & 40 times). But in real game time, they did appear a half a step slow. I'm just wondering if the defensive staff is over complicating things.

Time to re focus, study and prepare for the Browns.
