What I feel I learned today

First I hope people share on this what they think. This is what I feel.

1. Huge win. No other way to put going to Atlanta and winning.
2. D held on 4rth quarter to force ot.
3. Balls out in OT to go straight down and score.
4. This is typical SP ball minus 09, 11. Defense is horrid.
5. Of defense does not get better we aren't going anywhere. Plain and simple. In order for us to push for anything the defense has to get 16-20

Om celebrating, I'm happy, but realistic

Keep blood pressure meds closer if Pjwilliams takes the field..

Zoned in on him after he started getting abused with him just looking out of it,scared and confused with him raising his hands with smirks.AB scarred me with that smiling ****.

Both teams came to play. Typical Saints Falcons rivalry game down to the wire.

D-line came through when it counted. Concerned about our defensive backfield. Let's hope we get the funk out and DB's start to step up next week.

Losing Robinson will hurt.

I predicted a barn burner and (for once) I was right. TBH I didn't hold out much hope as I'm so down on our D, but we've got guts, and guts is enough.

Re: What I feel I learned today

I'm just waiting for us to put together a complete performance. There were parts where the D-line had great pressure but the backfield fell apart and vice versa. When the whole D-unit can start clicking we'll be dangerous.

Thomas is an absolute stud.

Kamara is everything we hoped to get with Reggie Bush.

Davenport is a grown man. He held the line really solid on a couple of plays and that is not easy to do as a rookie. His sack on Ryans was a beauty.

Special Teams kept us in this. Blocked punt was freaking huge. We covered kicks decent enough.

Our returns could be better, and I really, really don't like Kamara fielding punts. Not bc he's inept by any stretch, just don't like him getting hit like that...too valuable on offense to take those hits. I cringe every time he fields one.

I never had any faith in Taysom Hill the QB, but after today I’m absolutely in love with Taysom Hill the weapon.

Taysom Hill = Slash 2.0

Bring in Moore and bring in more. Penalties cost us points that really almost did us in. Don't know if it was noise or thanks to Armstead again some confusion man that guy as we know is good but unreliable

As much as I would hate this, Saints may have to consider moving Bridgewater for some DB help. 49ers could be the first team on the consideration list, Jimmy G may be out for the year.

Re: What I feel I learned today

It was a positive, in my book, because after losing to the Bucs and squeaking out a win against the Browns, I was ready for a truly disappointing season. I'm in the wait and see camp.

I want to see more from Carr. I cannot believe we don't have a freaking secondary. This is just so f'd up I don't have words.

I like the unpredictability. Taysom and Special Teams were surprising. Brees has a spin move!

We had a clusterf*ck of bad calls today. I mean there were a bunch of bad ones -- but some were justified -- those need to stop.

Special teams almost lost us the game too. Head slap on a FG? C’mon Onyemata.

That's not a half-bad idea, but the Niners Season is over.

Hard fought W. Stopping Jonas Bros and now Ridley is no joke. Both are superior WR's. We pulled it off in OT with a signature Brees seal the deal sneak. We Have The Meats.

I did not get to watch the game today :(, but I learned that the NFL has it in for Clay Matthews. Like, the Packers may actually have to switch him to offense.

It's a joke. The "new NFL" is ruining the sport I love.

That flag today was even worse than the one last week on Cousins.

Why aren't we looking at Sterling for CB help? I read Chicago did.

Backup LG had to of them and he had a rough day all around. Shows that we are quite thin there.

Actually, I seen another shot of that play, it really was penalty worthy. The 1 last week, not so much but this week it was. He has a roughing the passer in all 3 games so far.

I learned that when I start drinking then we start winning. I guess I'm drinking on Sundays from now on even though I'd like to slow down some......

Did you happen to catch the highlights of the Oakland/Fins game from yesterday?

A DE (Hayes) tore his ACL trying to actually avoid a roughing the penalty on D Carr . The "new rules" of trying to protect these QB's actually back fired on a defensive end. He's done for the season. The new rules suck.

Oh the irony though .

It's Ironic that the very team who caused this new rule to be made are the team that are consistently getting called for it on Defense - The Packers and Clay Matthews.

Living in Packers territory I think it’s hilarious!
