Re: Week 4 vs NYG

Saints lead the series with the NYG in the Sean Payton era 4-2, but both of those L's were Saints at NYG. The last time the Saints beat NYG at NY was 2006.

And something interesting I noticed, the Saints 2006 talent roster looks very comparable to the talent on the Saints 2018 roster. You can almost compare 2006 player/position that's very equal to a current player/position, like Kamara & Ingram to Reggie & Deuce, Mike Thomas & Ginn Jr. to Colston & Joe Horn, Lattimore & Crawley to Mike McKenzie & Jason Craft... etc. etc. Maybe it's like that every year, but I thought it was especially close in comparison between 2006 & 2018 rosters.

If you remember, that 2006 game game was technically a "home" game for us
Edit- sorry, that was 2005

Re: Week 4 vs NYG

I think we finally put it together defensively because if DA is half-way smart he'll go back to pre season defense when Crawley and Lattimore and Williams looked great and add in a lot of blitzes.

We need another win on the road to help gel this team. We also need for DA to dial it down a notch and stop confusing their offense as well as our own players. Simplify the defense and run more zone. We aren't getting it done it man.

At least the run D has been better the past 2 weeks (now 6th in the league if you can believe that) , and we did get 3 sacks last week. We need to manhandle that weak line

Agree, rattle Eli and he will fold like a cheap suit.

They are horrible when teams blitz. Problem with us is if we blitz and they pick it up it’s a guaranteed TD.

How about that blitz (AJ Klein) we dialed up for Matt Ryan on 3rd down? Resulting in a incomplete pass. That was HUGE, forcing OT & the rest was history.

I'd like to see more blitzing on Eli.
