By all appearances we are out scheming ourselves.

Yes. Just lineup & say "This is the coverage, beat it." Until they can, stay with it. When they start doing it, adjust.

Some of our problems are people don't appear to know their assignments. No one understands their role in certain packages....that's what I've seen. Plus getting burned and owned on man

This was very clear against Atlanta if not the two weeks prior. Our guys don't understand their responsibilities. Of course just getting beat isn't helping either.

I just wonder where have we seen this BEFORE?

It's not technique, it's scheme...

Example, in the first three games, despite Cam Jordan being our only effective pass rusher, we had him drop back into coverage and re-designated an OLB to blitz...

Why?!? That's not technique, that's poor scheme...

And we keep running it like Payton continues to run the naked double reverse like it will somehow start working despite results to the contrary...

I agree. There's nothing wrong with our roster. At all. It just needs to be administered more efficiently.

Keeping S Natrell Jamerson might have helped, too...

Is Sterling Moore still out there?
I missed most of the Atlanta game. I know PJ got smoked. Who was the problem after that

So you have Aaron Glenn DB's Coach 3rd season (probably not the problem)

Next up you have Dennis Allen DC and Mike Nolan LB's Coach.
Old School vs. new school
(could be the problem)
